arpstepper

Control stepper motors in DMX with small drivers such as A4988, DRV8825, TMC2208 or compatible.

Our arpsteppers allow you to simply connect drivers types A4988, DRV8825, TMC2208 or compatible, to the arpschuino. These drivers are used to control 1 to 1.5 A motors, depending on the model. Each arpstepper can receive up to 4 drivers and you can connect 2 arpsteppers to an arpschuino for a total of 8 motors.

The arpstepper is supplied without the drivers. They are easily found on the net or in stores specializing in equipment for 3D printers.

If you need to mix different types of drivers, it is possible with the stepper bridge. Placed in place of a Pololu driver, it makes it possible to derive the step and dir commands to an external driver (see the last two illustrations).

R2.1 news :

TMC2208 compatible without modification.

R2 news :

Four 100uf/50v capacitors instead of two 100uf/35V: better stability and possibility of powering motors up to 48v.

The solder jumpers are now under the board and are closed by default. No need for a solder bridge for standard configurations (A4988, DRV8825 or TMC2208).
